  • Pack 108 held its annual Wet Sponge Games on July 26th at South Grove park. We had a great time. We had 12 Scouts, plus quite a few little brothers and sisters. Thanks to everybody who brought snacks, and a special thanks to Phil for his help with transporting the water for this event. By using sponges rather than water balloons, we eliminated litter, and minimized water use. We used about half of the 250 gallon trailer tank for the sponge games, which comes out to less than 8 gallons per participant, or about the amount of water used by a 4-minute shower. We distributed the remainder of the water at the base of a few of the park's more wilted looking trees.

Contact Jon or Jill for more information.
